Complete Party has been a well-known business among the West Ryde community for many years.

Purchased by our organisation in September 2008, the party shop quickly became one of Achieve Australia’s valued social enterprises, with all proceeds being channeled back into our organisation’s programs and services.

We’ve been delighted with the Complete Party staff over the years. They have shown great support for Achieve Australia’s functions and fundraisers and happily assisted with the provision of equipment and decorations.

Complete Party also provided supported employment opportunities for people with disability. Three supported employees worked very hard every week to ensure all the hire equipment was cleaned, repaired and ready for distribution.

However, due to the economic downturn and its impact on small retail businesses across Australia, Complete Party has now closed. This meant that Complete Party was no longer a viable business and the closure of the store became necessary.

The three supported employees have all been transferred to new sites and will be provided with new training and support as they settle into their new roles. We wish the supported employees as well as the Store Managers, Leading Hand and rest of the Complete Party staff all the best for their future endeavours.

On a positive note, our Vintage and Value Enterprises, which are run by our very dedicated volunteers, are still running every Monday and Friday from 9am to 2pm and on the 1^st Sunday of the month from 9am to midday.

So if you’re interested in needlecraft, fabrics, plants, second hand clothing and books, pop down to Crowle Home at Porter Street off Junction Street in Ryde for some great bargains!
