The purchase of this established business of many years will provide both a training ground and employment opportunities for people with a disability, through the Business Service Program partly funded by the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. This program will allow participants to gain valuable on the job experience and employment in a retail outlet and a hire business, supported by appropriate care and training.  Our experience shows that gaining steady employment can positively impact the life of a person with a disability. 

At the moment, there are three employees with disability working at Complete Party – and this will increase as the party season picks up.  Around 80 people are supported by Achieve Foundation’s Employment Programs working in supported employment and open employment in a variety of businesses around the metropolitan area.

Achieve Foundation has a proud heritage and through business acquisitions such as Complete Party Hire seeks to further develop its philosophy of developing “A Better Life for People with Disability”.  Achieve Foundation provides employment support to people with a disability and their families through Government funded Disability Employment and Accommodation Programs.
